Hello folks- as part of a Contra/barter deal with a client at a trade show I just got the visitors list of the ADMA trade show here in Sydney---ADMA = Australian Direct Marketers Assoc
now I have all the contact details of over 1000 people what I do need to know is the best way of contacting them and why as in should I call them up and ask if they organise events or email them (spam) or send a post card- and If I do send them info what should I concentrate on as in do I say entertainer or just marketing event. hmmmmm I'm not 100% sure of the first step as I have never used a list like this before Cheers, Dave |

Well I guess a lot has to do with what you did at the tradeshow and what you are trying to accomplish!
were you performing close up at the booth etc. or were you just there as a spectator! I think sending them a simple letter thanking them for stopping by the booth with a small magic trick enclosed with a very brief summery of services you can provide them and maybe a "request more info" postcard may work! then try to mail to them once a month, newsletters etc., and not always about booking you but somtimes just for fun! it will create name recognition for you!
