Hey guys,
This set of books looks quite interesting...but I'm having serious trouble finding any info about them. The few topics here on the Café don't really say much, except for "I can't wait to get mine". Can anyone provide details about these books? Cheers, -- Topher |

Hi Topher,
I got them when they were published and just one word, "GREAT!". You will not regret getting them. One of the best books I have. If you are looking for more information such as contents etc, you can get it from Miracle Factory's website. So far, I have all the books published by Miracle Factory and every one of them is fabulous. |

They include reprints of some of Abbott's previous books also. As previous posts said - they are well worth getting. I believe they are still available from the Miracle Factory but if not try Denny's Magic.

They were reviewed in Magic and Genii magazines. Both gave VERY high reviews.

You can find David Abbott's Behind The Scenes with the Mediums at the Learned Pig. It's public domain.

With photographs showing the mechanics of the effects described and Teller's additions, the text reads much more clearly. There is also Abbot's "House of Mystery", which is in the second volume, that is not in public domain, and was only printed in a limited edition back in the 1970's. This portion is similar to Chislett's "Spirits in the House". All in all, a very good edition and one that is invaluable to workers in spirit theater. |

Chislett's "Spirits in the House. I have not seen this book around. Can anyone tell me where to find it.
