I'm looking for effects that have to do with pearls. No specific reason...i already know of the pearl poodles. anything else is appreciated.

For those that don't know, Larry Davidson has a pearl poodle rotuine on his DVD.
I'll be learning it and buying some pearls.

Being you posted this is a stage section of the Café, not close-up, the only pearl routine is the cut and restored pearl trick that is on Mr. Electric's video. Tony Torino sold the same effect years ago with regular size pearls.
Show a string of pearls and cut the fastener off the end. The beads fall into a glass. Put the pearls and string in the magicians mouth and remove them all strung together. Easy to do and make, if you are craftie type of person. Sometimes now and again, the vanishing and re-appearing pearls appear on the market. Pearl necklace is on a stand like in a jewelers store. Vanish the pearl necklace and it re-appears on the stand. Pearl necklace toutines are nice if you use an assistant in you stage act. |

I remember buying a trick as a kid, which is essentially a ring and rope routine, but it was performed with a necklace and a bracelet. I think John Fedko marketed it.
