Do any of you know the titles of the songs used on the TomTom Personal Navigator and Vonage ads?
Thanks, Amos McCormick

Not quite THAT annoying! I heard a story on NPR that this is part of a huge scam that is costing cellphone customers a LOT of money!

I believe the song you are looking for, the one from the Vonage ad anyway, is "Woo Hoo" by 5.6.7.8's. The song can be found on the "Kill Bill Vol. 1" soundtrack. I hope that helps.

I thought the 2 annoying songs were "It's a Small World" and "The Wedding March"
Once you ride the ride at Disneyland, You'll know what I mean on the first one. The second one is self explanitory, I especially detest the version by William Shatner! |

I could listen to "It's A Small World" all day long, (and often do at Disney World). As for the Wedding March, I'm not sure about the William Shatner version.
Back to the original question, though - I'm not looking for just ANY annoying song. I have plenty of those already. I'm looking for a SPECIFIC annoying song from the TomTom commercials. Amos McCormick

Annoying would be these two:
MacArthur Park by William Shatner The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins done by Leonard Nimoy Now THAT's ANNOYING!!! Lee Darrow, C.H. (who has worked with both of these wonderful gentlemen at different times as part of their special security detail, the Klingon Diplomatic Corps - for pay!)

The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins was the funniest thing I've seen! I think I saw the video at compfused.com
Amosmc--do you have a link to these songs/videos? |

Actually, I usually hear the ads on the television in the other room while I'm at work.
I just found the TomTom ad on their website: http://tomtom.com/news/media.php Amos McCormick

I got stuck on that ride years ago for about 6 days - alright it was actually only for about 15 minutes, it just felt like 6 days! Anyway, when we go to Disney now my daughters have trouble getting me to take them on It's a Small World. Somehow they always end up winning that battle though! |

It depends on what "floats your boat", I guess. I first saw "It's a Small World" at the 1964 New York World's Fair, and have been a huge fan ever since.
I am always fascinated by the different characters and the animation, because there's always something to see that you haven't seen before. In the back of my mind I would love to have an animated exhibit in the yard at Christmas, and I would also like to make some characters for my wife's Kindermusik classes similar to those - sort of like imagineering, but on a greatly reduced scale. I also remember riding on the subway with the magician and his assistant from the General Cigar magic show, wondering why she wasn't bleeding after being cut in half. Amos McCOrmick
