You might like the version on the Juan Hundred dollar bill switch DVD. Borrow a spectator's bill, draw the shades, and then make them rise. Everything fully examineable and visual.

Thanks Doug,

At the moment I'm after nightshades for a particular reason.

Is nightshades off the market?

I can't seem to find it. Smile

If you happen to come across a copy of Cyril's Super Street Magic, Season 2, he performs a terrific version of Nightshades that begins with a borrowed bill and ends with him wiping the shades off of the bill and on to a napkin. The napkin then ignites in a flash of flame and Cyril is left holding an actual pair of sunglasses which he puts on, as he turns and walks away. Very cool!

Yes, I realize that this doesn't answer the original question but I thought that the routine might be of interest.

Speaking of Cyril, in his latest season special, he put a shade onto the
watermark portrait of a Japanese Bill...

I love the reaction from the Japanese audience, so dramatic..

Mehtas,
I just recently saw what you are looking for on a rather famous auction site...

Best of luck!

Mehtas, you can still purchase one of Paul's older VHS releases on The Art of Astonishment Vol.1 VHS tape at some of the online magic store. Just do a google search you will find it. You can also buy Paul Harris's The Art of Astonishment book and learn this wonderful effect.

However, from what I've read here at the Café, Paul is due to release some of his best work from his AOA in DVDs this fall. So save your money and wait for the DVDs!
