From physics, we know that:
Power=Work/Time Now, if we accept the postulate that knowledge is power, we get the following equation: Knowledge=Work/Time Accepting a second postulate that time is money, the equation becomes: Knowledge=Work/Money Instead of solving for knowledge, let's apply some basic algebra to solve this equation for money: Knowledge( * Money)=Work/Money ( * Money) Knowledge * Money=Work Knowledge * Money ( / Knowledge)=Work ( / Knowledge) Money=Work/Knowledge Try graphing this equation for yourself. You'll note that, as Knowledge approaches 0, Money approaches infinity! Thus proving that, the less knowledge you have, the more money you'll have! |

Money=Work/Knowledge[/i] I think you left out one part of this. Namely, that as KNOWLEDGE approaches zero, MONEY approaches infinity _regardless_ of the amount of WORK done. Or, in words stolen from another web page: "The stupid rich do little or no work." Here's another one: http://www.tech-sol.net/humor/marriage82.htm
Make America Great Again! - Trump in 2020 ... "We're a capitalistic society. I go into business, I don't make it, I go bankrupt. They're not going to bail me out. I've been on welfare and food stamps. Did anyone help me? No." - Craig T. Nelson, actor.

Re: balducci's post
If the amount of WORK done IS zero (constant), then MONEY doesn't approach infinity as KNOWLEDGE approaches zero. (In this case, MONEY approaches zero as KNOWLEDGE approaches zero.) If the amount of WORK done APPROACHES zero (as KNOWLEDGE also approaches zero), then MONEY doesn't necessarily approach infinity. (To determine the value of the limit here, we'd need more information.) Nitpickingly yours, Stan |
