Hello
I am looking for a ring to box routine where the audience gets to hold the box before the ring vanishes and the ring can be clearly seen inside the box when it is opened. Is there such an effect yet? Thanks. |

Oh, I think, I remember - many years ago - a lady (I think her name was Barbara Eden, but a man with name Larry Hagman always called her "Jeannie") was able to do such an effect. But this doesn't help much, because nobody of us can blink with our eyes as she did!
We both can think and discuss a possibility to create such an effect, if you like! Best regards from Vienna! Angelo |

I doubt they could actually hold the box the entire time but you may be able to play it up to make it seem as if they did.
Here's something you may want to look into. http://www.magic.org/store/product_info.php?products_id=352 http://www.markleveridge.co.uk/shopbask/products/ulrb.html http://www.magic.org/store/product_info.php?products_id=294 |

Hello limhanchung,
do you know Tommy Wonder's routine "watch to box", He shows (and explains) it on one of his DVDs. It is perfect! He really never touches the box! If the spectator hold any apparatus, we must find a logical reason, why we touch it for a moment. Perhaps becaus we open a string which is around the box. Or there are some boxes nested in each other and we open 'only' the greatest and the others are with the spectator. Read ideas in Tommy Wonder's books - these books are really great! Kind regards! Online-Visions.com has a nice routine involving a spectators ring that you vanish only to be found in the innermost doll of a set of Matrioshka nesting dolls. You could modify the handling for just one doll or in your case a small box. Here is the link. http://www.online-visions.com/challenges/0603solved-11.html
