I am looking at this effect and was wondering if it were possible to push other objects through the body, possibly a pole, stick, golf club ect. Thanks for the imput.

No, not really it's designed to push your hand through and I'd suggest is much stronger done that way. Even if you could push a golf club through, specs will suspect that it's a gimmicked golf club. It's pretty difficult to gimmick up your arm.

Difficult to gimmick your arm? Would you suggest that it is not worth the $75?

I think what Ethan means is that the audience will percieve a penetration using your arm would be more impossible than a penetration using any other object - not that the effect s gimmick to gimmick up. In fact you arm is ungimmicked.
Pushing a golf club through would be pretty much impossible though. Craig P |

There is no need to gimmick your arm, the point is that if your hand comes through somebodies body the spectators are unlikely to think your using a gimmicked arm. If a golf club comes through the body they are much more likely to just think that it's some kind of trick golf club. Therefore the arm through is a much better option and in this case the only real option anyway. |

I have had a spectator pick a card and had my assistant blend in with the crowd ( I hate the word stooge) and then pick someone from the crowd (my secret assistant)to stand behind me and push hard and when his hand comes through my gut the signed spectator's card comes with it! It really kills. But I agree anything larger would just take away from the effect. On the street I'd just go for the Gutbuster sans the card but in the right setting it is a nice change of pace and probably one of the most creative places to produce the spectator's card from. Gutbuster is one of the most clever mini illusions to come out in a long time. Maybe the best from Andrew Mayne.

It is worth every penny, I would think most people will agree and it has been rated by many purchasers as thier best find of the year. It is not very expensive when you consider the power of the effect.
