Whats the best reaction that you have ever got from a levitation?
Here's mine: While I was returning from school, some of my friends asked me to show them my levitation. It was a group of 4. They said they had heard "rumours" of me levitating in front of people. I did balducci for them. When I turned around, I saw their jaws on the floor, and eyes so wide open that they scared me. I walked back to them, and they were unable to speak. One of them said that he felt that the entire street was frozen while I was in air. And guess what -- everybody else agreed that they felt the street pause for a few seconds too!

I did the balducci for an employee at the factory where my brother in law works.
(bear in mind, Durban has the biggest population of indian people outside india) she was blown away! word spread very fast, soon I repeated it for a bigger group (being careful with my audience management) and the tales grew. I was asked if I was a yogi/guru/etc... this was years ago, but if I go to the factory now, I still get strange looks and a buzz of embellished tales soon start. |

Did it the middle of the street one night after doing magic for a group of my friends for like 3 hours and made a girl cry, and coincidentally never spoke to me the rest of night, along with the next couple weeks. All off the Balducci, craziness. Course, cant really do it anymore, it's been too over done and people just 'know' how it's done a lot of the time, quite a shame.

I did it and a group of angry villagers chased me into an old barn and they caught it on fire in an attempt to kill me. I escaped, barely, but can't go back there again.

I've had people say that they thought I had "hydraulic lifts" in my shoes. Now wouldn't THAT be something.

I've received great reactions from the Balducci as well as the Wild Levitation, particularly in bars. If you have more than one (and I feel like I have most of them)you can always throw off those who know the Balducci (which I still find to be a relatively small number of people.

I practice telekinesis, I've been practicing for about a year now and ive gotten to the point,(before I go any farther, for you that don't know what telekinesis is it is the moving of objects without physical contact), ok, like I was saying, ive gotten to the point were I can make dollar bills levitate (or float), and I was doing that when I was sitting at the mall and every one walking by stopped dead in there tracks to see what I was doing and when they realized that it was floating they freaked!! (I had to tape it because I had to put so much engery into making it float, that if I would of paid any attention to them it would of fell.) It was a great reaction.

I caused a cocky teen to hit the floor cold once, passed out.
When he came to, he was very disoriented and immediately left. When he turned to look back, he saw me and hit the floor again. Effective? Yes. -J

I've been telling my wife and my brother and his wife that I could "float" for about 2 months. The other day my brother's wife made a comment that I have been telling them for so long that she didn't think I could actually do it. My brother and my wife both "chimed in" with the same remarks...
Well, the gauntlet being "thrown down", I proceeded to do the good balducci method for them. Let me tell you, I have NEVER seen looks like that on peoples faces before. They were ALL totally freaked out! Needless to say, they don't question my "abilities" anymore... It may be true that a lot of people know the secret to the balducci method of levetating, but if done properly it still seems to be a major "freaker outer"... I bought the King's rising levitation awhile back and I just purchased The Elevator from Peter Loughran a few days ago. I'm having a blast "levitating" for people and the reactions alone are well worth the money spent... Cost of balducci method $$$, Cost of King's rising $$$, Cost of the elevator $$$, reactions from the crowd, PRICELESS... Just my thoughts on the matter...
It's not the size of the wand that matters, it's the "magic" in it...

Perhaps in the teaser for my new production, I will get multiple accounts of the levitation and this poor kids fit. There were several other magicians present, security guards, etc. I would be happy to post it and then watch your grandmother do that triple salto. What a skilled dead woman.

I did the levitation once and prior to passing out the spectators projectile vomited. When they woke up, just long enough to be concious, and just before passing out again in amazement they saw that their vomit had spelled out the name of a long dead ancestor and or friend. Unfortunately there are no witnesses of this as after they were released from the hospital they all had believed that the second coming, me, had occured and that they had been left behind so they all tragically killed themselves in a futile attempt of a group levitation off a bridge, the Golden Gate to be exact. I did have video evidence of all this but some men from the govt in dark suits came and took the video from me saying I would have them back soon but they stole them. Oh, and a girl screamed.
