Hi newbie here and newbie in magic. I just bought a marked stripper card to amaze my daughter, but now I am interested in doing this to my officemate. However, I have no basic skills in card handling or what you call card sleight. I have downloaded the ebook from downloadmagic.com - is it best to practice from ordinary card from a trick card? Mabuhay!!!

Frankism, take it slow. Read the forums. Think about what you want to do. Practice.
And welcome to the Café!

Doesn't matter if you practice with a stripper deck or a regular deck, only you will know the difference. Jim |

Hi Frank,
Welcome to the Café! You'll learn a lot reading the forums at the Café but I highly recommend checking out the New to Magic forum. There contains valuable info on what books or DVDs are highly suggested depending on where your interest in magic lies. Good luck and have fun! Chrystal |
