I should be careful, before I get a reputation for being a search junkie, but I do lots of searching for things of interest. There is so much knowledge here that is not necessarily in active or recent posts!
Anyway, when I search and get multiple 'hits', I like to be able to read more than one of them. However, after reading the first hit, when I click 'back' I get: Warning: Page has Expired requiring to resubmit my search, this can take a while, especially when I searched subject and message bodies. Is there a way to provide a 'go back to the search results page' when one has clicked on a 'hit'? thanks for your great work on a site I frankly spend too much time reading cheers, -erik |

It does the same thing to me when I search for stuff and want to return to the search page. I haven't figured out why (probably due to cache) but every so often, if I go back to the search results six or seven times, my browser doesn't pop up that "page has expired" routine.
It's just the way browsers work when a form is submitted - there's nothing much we can do about it, sorry! |

What I do is leave the search page open and just right click the topic and choose "Open Link in New Window". This way the search page stays untouched. This is my work-around.
Can search results be made to open the topics in seperate windows be default? This would be slightly more user friendly work around. |
