I think you are right on everything other than the coin manipulation. I found him annoying, personally.

I think David Roth is a little better.

But everyone has their own opinion.

Just my 2 cents.

Who is the best for ball manipulation?

I've never done a single thing in ball manipulation...
I want something that is going to teach me beginner to advanced...

Recommendations?
Shawn.

Shimada Manipulation DVD – Greater Magic Video Library Vol. 3

I haven't seen this video, but many reviews in the Café told me this is one of the best to learn ball manipulation...

Jeff McBride's card manipulation was an inspiration to me. Up to that point I considered most things card tricks.

McBride did the first things that I called card magic.

I will have to say McBride for coins, not just because I observed his DVD but because he won contest with the finger roll.

I will have to go with McBide on cards also.

That guy has so much inside of him.

The best all around foundation for manipulations is Chavez. Chavez teaches; Cards, Coins, Balls, Cigarettes, and Thimbles.) Highly recommend going to Chavez rather than correspondence.

McBride's DVD's are best all-around for both beginner and advanced.

The rest of the suggestions posted are hard to beat for fine tuning, nuance and "kicking it up a notch."

Note:Tim Wright's Balls DVD gives the best advice for a ball act and that is worth the viewing alone.

Best of luck,
Kregg

Hey, has everyone forgotten Eccentricks?! I have vol.1 and vol. 2 and love them very much. Maybe these are my favourite ones. I don't have the 3rd one, has anyone seen it?
