I do not understand why, but here in Sweden a lot of kids ask me to do the cat. I'm not able to do the cat.
My feeling is that it is very difficult to do something that remembers a cat (and do not look like a tiger for instance...). Is anybody willing to help me? You' ll make some kids (especially girls) happy! Thanks // Andrea |

For a cat I usually turn a teddy bear head backwards and put it on a standard dog body with a long tail. To further sell the cat image I twist the ears an extra quarter turn (makes them more pointed) and place a mouse made from a 160 in the fold of its mouth. Their cat caught a mouse.

Check out Don Caldwell's Bad Kitty. It is a bit complex but it is a reputation maker. Available on his tapes.

Nothing would get done at all, if man waited so long that no one could find fault with it.

Check out Richard Levin's Levin's Eleven Balloon Menangerie for a one balloon cat. The book may be out of print.

Hello:
Bruce Kalver has a DVD called "Cats". It's fairly short - he teaches about six different cats. The cats he teaches are famous like Sylvester, Garfield, Felix, Cat-in-the-Hat, etc. I think it is very good. Here's the information: https://manatee.site-secure.net/tophatpr......854.html Ron |
