I'm just curious if a ball holder like one of these...

Not these Ball Holders. They are perfect for golf balls and other lighter items. For an orange, lemon, or even a real pool ball, you need a holder that is of better materials and construction.
Such holders are on the website http://www.magic-stars.com click on ball holders at the top of the page. |

The ones from Fabric Manipulations will do the job nicely. They also cost a fair amount of money. I purchased mine from them at Magic LIVE and have used them constantly ever since.
They are worth every cent.

You might be able to go to the tennis shop and get a tennis ball holder.
They hold one or two depending on which one you get. they are a few bucks and clip onto your belt. will definitely hold a lemon. frank

Don't overlook the tube type egg droppers for multiple productions.

I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I only lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three. Elayne Boosler
