Hi Guys,

Very exciting. Trilogy is certainly one of my recent favourites. The deck on the table aspect has me sold.

Peter,
Any idea when this will be available? Looking forward to seeing how different it is than what I've been doing for the last couple of years. Thanks, Robert Sixx |

I own Trilogy and was tempted to try Duality because it only uses one deck.
Thankfully I waited for the new downloadable Trilogy Streamlined manuscript to come along. In 2005 Trilogy was my trick of the year. In 2006 I'm sure it will be Trilogy Streamlined. The effect this trick has on the audience is like a triple invisible deck. Three 'no ways' in a row. For owners of the original Trilogy let me explain the differences. - Only one deck is used - The deck is shown before the spec/s name any number/card - The deck can be held by the spec until the final revelation Towards the back of the original instructions there is mention of a one deck version of Trilogy. What you receive for your cash ($9) is a five page manuscript containing a fully considered set-up and presentation using one deck. The structure of the presentation is very clever in that it gets around making the three choices appear limited. Indeed, reconstructing the effect I am sure spectators would swear they had a free choice of 52 cards and 52 numbers every time. This manuscript is well worth consideration if you own the original Trilogy. It means you only have to carry around one deck and, in my opinion, you get a stronger effect (as the deck is in play from the start and scripting does away with the notion of limited choice). Thumbs up all round. |

Just to make sure...this will work with the original Trilogy set-up then....? No need to re-number or repurchase the trick...?

Also, does that mean we will have two complete Trilogy's because the origional had two decks?

Hi,
There is no need to re-number your Trilogy, you just need to rearrange the deck. You will only be able to make one Trilogy Streamline out of your standard Trilogy set. Regards Peter |

Hi KiKi,
Trilogy Streamline is a fully routined presentation. The original instructions gave a very brief outline of a one deck version and to date I have only met one person who has taken this brief idea and turned it into something special. Richard has dome a very good job. You will love the routine and the new Streamline version. Regards Peter |

You may need to tweak the set-up for Trilogy Streamlined (vs. what it says in the instructions) depending on how you set-up and numbered your original decks. It should be fairly obvious though with a bit of thought. Peter, my challenge to you, or anyone else who wants to try, is to devise a trick using the leftover cards!!! |

Hi Zak.
I'm lookings forward to hearing about what you are thinking about this effect. You are always making some suggestions that other people are missing. You are providings the magical community with killer insights every time. What do you mean with 'juicing'? I don't think we are doing this in Spain. The only juicing I am knowing is to squash the oranges. Ha ha. Juan
Think not what magic can do for you, but what you can do for magic.

Well...I had to get this. I think the routine is fantastic. The fact that the deck stays in full view and can be held by a spectator is the great improvement. I loved the original Trilogy... this version has cut the fat and left the flavor.
Top notch! |
