Does anyone have this illusion. It looks very similar to a "Things that go bump in the night." I was wondering if anyone could post a review or give me some additional information about this illusion. The description (copied from Tilford Illusions Website) is below. The web link for the illusion is: http://www.tilfordillusions.com/alien.html
Alien-
The magician and his helper assemble the panels on a 2-inch thick base. Once it has been assembled and shown, magic begins: on its walls there appear images of mysterious hands and faces - an amazing special effect. The audience will be dazzled!
Right after that, the box is opened and, to everyone´s surprise, it is empty.
The box is then closed and the hands and faces can be seen again. The show ends when a beautiful woman appears on the stage.

I got it. Working on a routine for it as we speak. I like most of the prop and I will make a very slight mod to it but all in all the key is presentation. I like the idea that the wheels on the base fold out and tuck in. You Have to have 2 assistants to help you with this illusion and one of them as well as yourself should NOT be weak! LOL

I don't think Doug gets any heat from his business dealings. He seems to be a fair dealer with customers. He gets the heat for selling rip offs of others illusions.

Best,

I have known and dealt with Doug for years. He has always been one of the fairest people to deal with and a nice guy to boot!

Gotta add that Doug has always been generous with his time and fair in his business dealings. The only complaints I've heard have to do with workmanship, and this might have to do with the fact that Doug's stuff is notably less expensive than the same stuff from other sellers. - Folks who are concerned about craftsmanship should know that Doug sells some Fairchild magic, which is well made and reasonably priced.

Armagician, you can ask directly to Anton Corradin (info@antoncorradin.com), who created this illusion.
Anton is a friend of mine. You can mention my name.

Has anyone see his new double flash appearence? I have an interest but am concerned about the quality. I have heard about the quality of some of his illusions being, well, let's say not of the highest quality.
Does anyone have experience with this illusion?

I have too dealt with Doug. I once had a problem with an illusion and was not as happy as I wished. Not that the prop was bad, but it wasn't what I needed. I was really concerned that I was going to get "stuck" with the prop, especially in that it was more of my preference issues, as opposed to the prop not working, or something of that nature.

Doug promptly, and without hesitation, took the item back and provided a total refund, no questions asked.

He is a very professional dealer, and from my expirence, all should be comfortable that you are dealing with a professional dealer that you can trust.

I have it and I build a few of my own illusions, I really think its priced right, unlike other illusions. I wouldn't say the build is that easy, but if you work good with metal then I guess its easy and it would cost you a couple hundred bucks to build, but I think its priced right. And I like the idea
