Hey guys, I have just started performing on the street and I am having a problem figuring out what trick would be best to open with and which one to close with. I need some sort of routine.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Do a search on some of the other threads in this forum. There is already enough information here to build an entire street act. Look around a little bit.

Your opener needs to be visual, something to watch. I watched Chris Capehart stroll at a mall many years ago. He opened with 2 items--card fans and productions; and appearing vanishing silk (repeated around his performance area). It took him about 2 minutes to get a crowd.

What about maybe contact juggling? Or something with flash paper... of course, neither of those things alone makes sound... and as we all know, if they don't turn their head to look at you, it won't matter how visual your opener is.
