Yeah, I uses the scissors for another gag earlier in the show so I put them in Slashed.

Hi Scott,

I bought Slashed when it first came out. I just put it in my show last month. I picked out some music that fits my own personality, and I've been getting incredible reactions with it. My concern is that the rope will eventually get dirty. Aside from the instructions that came with the routine for keeping it clean, are there any other suggestions for cleaning or replacing the rope?

If you re-release the stage version of Slashed, I'll definitely be picking up another, as I can't imagine doing another show without it.

I clean my Slashed after each performance using a "Wet Ones" moist towelette. I just wrap a towelette around the centre of the rope, holding it in place with one hand, and then use my other hand to quickly run the rope through it towards one end (stopping just short of the "you-know-what"). I then repeat the process towards the other end. The towelette barely dampens the surface of the rope and it dries in just a couple of minutes. My rope, after many years of use, still looks like new. If you get the type with lanolin, the rope feels really soft afterwards!

I've been wanting this since I saw it at the Penguin lecture. Such a clean routine.
So magical.

I'll be glad to see "Slashed" back in stock. I like the effect. I love the choice of music with this effect. It brings a new element to the effect and brings in a nice emotional touch to the effect.

This is good news. I will be keeping a close eye on this. I have been waiting to get one for a while now.

Is it available now?

It is in the pipeline after Bob gets Velocity 3.0 released.
That is next after our new releases of The Missing Link and The American Sticks.
Slashed will follow but we are looking beyond Thanksgiving.

I know that I am late to the party on this one but I can't begin to say how much I love this routine which I have recently added into my active set. This is very visual and easily scaled from stage to parlor. It is easily choreographed from a comedy stand up routine to a high energy one man musical miracle. This has been very well received by audiences in my past few shows where I have added this. Scott has noted this will be re-released soon with some updates which I am eager to catch up on ... I'm sold.

Scott, I like your talking routine better. It fits more to my personality. I too bought this when it first came out and will be using it for a show in March.

We are working on bringing it back out. I am in the final stages of getting the manufacturing process of the new rope down.
I will most likely be making these myself, by hand, in very limited quantity.

I don't suppose there is any word on these as of yet?
