You show a complete puzzel, put all the pieces in a bad and get one spectator to choose a piece of the puzzel out. The puzzel is then assembled by another spectator. when it is done with a wave of your magic hand it turns into a solid picture. A print of the puzzel. The spectator who took the puzzel piece at the beginning and compares his piece to a whole that is cut out of the complete picture. Its the same bit missing.

If I remember correctly, there's already an effect on the market like this with the Mona Lisa, I don't know off-hand what the name of the effect is though.
