Although most of you in The States won't be able to see it, you might be interested to know that my opera about Chung Ling Soo - 'The Original Chinese Conjuror' had its premiere last week in England, and it's doing really well. All of the national press reviews have been good (including four stars in The Guardian and The Independent) and audiences have really enjoyed the show...we open in London in one week, and we're almost sold out already, so I'm thrilled!
If you google 'The Original Chinese Conjuror', you'll find lots of information, reviews etc. |

I saw it in Atlanta, GA and I was really impressed with it. Some of the staging ideas I was particularly impressed with. I'm quite pleased it has been received well, the play deserves it!

Hhmmm... you must have seen a different theatre piece, as ours only had its premiere last week, and certainly hasn't got to the States. I only know of one other piece about Soo, I think it's called 'The Mystery of Chung Ling Soo' was it that? My piece is called 'The Original Chinese Conjuror.

It was the Mystery of Chung Ling Soo - how about that! I had no idea that there were two shows. Very cool!
Sorry about the confusion on my part. But I sure hope you come to the states, especially my hometown of Atlanta! |
