Does anyone provide the image of playing cards in a computer readable/printable format?

I would like to be able to print out some large cards to use in a Parlor show.

Thanks

Do you have the option of scanning in some faces and just scaling them up to print?

Thanks

I will have to see if I can scale up w/o diminishing the quality, and see if I can figure out how to extract a single card from Bellot's files.

I bought the A4's from the ebay site for about $10. They are stored as a pdf file, and individually printable. The default size was letter size paper. Should work well for my parlor card tricks

What do you do with these files? The text files contain gnu license info, etc. but I can't figure out what to do with the svg file. How, for example, do I get the 9 of diamonds into a program such as publisher so that I can work with it?

Thanks

John

SVG is a Scaleable Vector Graphic image. So the *.svg file can be resized infinitely without increasing file size or loosing quality.
But, you will need a vector based drawing program to do this, or a program that supports importing SVG files.

I know that Adobe Illustrator will allow you to open it. I have taken the liberty of resizing the file to 300dpi (Standard print resolution), and saving it as a jpg for you.

You can open this jpg in Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, GiMP or any of your favorite photo editor, it is a little on the heavy side 12MB. But it should work for most of your needs.

I hope this helps!

You can find the card suites (spades, hearts, etc) in normal Windows fonts. This should enable you to print your own custom spot gaffs -- court cards are another matter and would require scanning and changing...

Thank you Greg. I will see what I can do with the cards.

Conus, thank you. I have tried, but I have found it difficult to properly space the pips; perhaps I need to be more patient.
