Anyone do any IT illusions during street performances? If so, what IT do you use outside? Any problems with sunlight and the IT? Anyone using a SpiderPen for their IT?

That's what I'm worried about... especially in broad daylight with the sun shining.

I use loops outside all the time. Yes, direct sunlight can be a problem. I choose my moments and where I use it. It is OK in a shaded area. I can also use my body to shade the performing area. If you are using an anchor or hookup off of your body, you will have much more trouble. Stick with hookups that are on your body; they give you more control of your performing area. See Losander's material for some good and convenient body hookups.

I use loops for the haunted deck routine as a follow up routine or if I need an out for a card trick gone wrong. Works pretty well in most of the conditions I've used it in, But I will admit that I perform mostly in the evening.

I use loops and spider pen for bough in- and outdoors.
yes, outdoors you can face some issues when using IT. but as mentioned , try to stay in shaded areas and you should be fine. if you have to perform in direct sunlight then try to keep a little distance between you and your specs as this will make it hard for them to notice the IT. good luck -Matt

Like mentioned, get Mesika Loops, buy a skin color EDF pen and color it like Finn Jon does. Also be sure to rely on shade when performing outside..

I use the spiderpen inside and outside and it works amazingly, there might be some minor issues but you can alwayz just do it in the shade

Yes, always make sure you have dark background light, or it's just safe for it to be done away from sunlight. If you do street magic at night that would be amazingly perfect for IT magic.
