When you have seen something move how do you remember it: Do you see it moving in your memory or as a series of still pictures. Or what.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

Wow! I've never thought about it, but I guess I lean toward a series of stills. That's odd. Why do you ask? Is it magic related?

I am a visual person, I use both motion and static images- depending on the impact or impression left. I also use motion when creating a performance. Some refer to this as visualization. My third grade teacher told my parent's that I was a daydreamer.

I was thinking of something else that was magic related: How we see things - that just made me wonder about it.

My memories tend to be more verbally descriptive. I think it may be because I was born with cataracts, so I never saw very well. Now that they've been replaced with plastic lenses, my memory still works verbally. I CAN visualize things, but it takes conscious effort.
A guy I once worked with who spoke 6 languages (3 from childhood) told me he always thinks in images, never words. I think there can be a wide variation in how we think, depending on how we developed in childhood.

Most people think in terms of images, except for people who, as airship is, were born with visual impairments of some sort. That's one reason that book tests often appear to be very contrived.
