I think the original question is the wrong way to approach learning magic. You will eventually find the answer you seek after you experiment with a broader range of effects as well as educate yourself on magic theory. Once you spend time and effort on those two aspects (magic concepts/plots and theory) you will be able to answer that question on your own. Let me give an example, let's say a person has the question of "What's the best cake recipe which people will love?" but you don't know how to bake, you should get your baking skills on par first.
So think of it like this, before you start worrying about what's the most inspectable effect available you should be asking questions such as "What do I want to achieve with magic? What plots and effects do I want to tackle?" After all, the method is only a way to achieve an effect thus an effect being examinable makes up a quite small aspect of the effect. |

Coin Squeeze is pretty examinable.... many of tenyo's or Kreis magic products... and how bout a deck of normal playing cards..
The question you are asking is too broad.. there are hundreds of gimmicked trick which you can hand out for examination where the specs won't be able to figure it out.. and if you consider 'brief examination' as well, there will be even more tricks to list.... |

The precision of the porper paddles make them a pleasure to pass out.
I agree with above, though. Only on request and sparingly.
So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look West, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark — that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.

I absolutely love gimmicked items you can hand out for examination. Many experienced magicians tend to look down on these items and don't feel the need to hand things out but in my experience it just drives lay people crazy when they get to examine the props. I do agree that sleight of hand is fantastic for turning un-examinable items into fully examinable ones. I also agree that once you're able to work with borrowed items (coins, deck of cards, etc.) then it's even more magical then "I just happen to have a 50 cent piece with me" Here are a few gimmicked props that I've used in the past that are examinable:
Penacoin Matchbox Penetration Scotch and Soda, $1.35, $0.21 Copper Silver Brass (before and after the effect) Pen through dollar bill Shrinking Cigarette Linking Ring Through String (http://www.hocus-pocus.com/magicshop/) (before and after) In a Flash (Jay Sankey) Holy Moly (Jay Sankey) |

The question is much too general to even bother giving some type of answer.
It's almost akin to asking; "What is the best and easiest trick I can get away with cleanly"! ~gaffed~

Cups & Balls is certainly examinable but it takes a LOT of practice to do correctly.
I'm not at all sure if this person is just looking for examinable tricks or, tricks that are examinable and, easy to do? Then again, why must something be examinable albeit it's a positive? There is after all something called "control" of your props while doing magic. If presented correctly there is, in most cases, no need to let the spectator examine your trick/props. ~gaffed~

"Tricks that spectators can't find the gimmick..."
This puts a smile to my face. In all honesty, sleight of hand material is the best type of trick because if done right, there is nothing to find! My favorite pocket trick that can be examined is Perfect Pen but that trick can now be found at the mall next to D'Lites and Hummer's Whirling Card. LOL... R.I.P. Bob Hummer. Best, Doug L.

Looks too much like a toy to me rather than a good magic effect for table hopping. Cute......but that's about all it is. Lost mine about 16 years ago. Wish I still had it but only as a collective item. ~gaffed~
