I agree with not lip syncing the words.

Also I liked the 1-2-3 idea it would be nice to see it more thru the routine.

But hey, it was great. Your smoothness and timing is what makes it so great.

I hope to reach that level someday.

And Danny, you made some good points there. As much as I thought the first one was excellent, thos ideas are great! And I loved you lecture at Conjurers Court.

When I first heard about the Magic Café, THIS is the kind of thread I expected to see; someone with a solid routine asking advice and recieving lots of tips and suggestions. This is what it's all about!
By the way...great job Ben!

Our friends don't have to agree with me about everything and some that I hold very dear don't have to agree about anything, except where we are going to meet them for dinner.

Hey Ben, that was fantastic - congratulations on a well thought-out and beautifully presented routine.
I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I only lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three. Elayne Boosler

Great job Ben- knock em dead!
Never criticize someone else until you have walked a mile in their shoes. Then, when you do criticize them, you will be a mile away from them and you will have their shoes.

Excellent. Don't pay too much attention to critics here... pay attention to how the audiences react.

Hi Guys,

The week at the castle was wonderful. I got to meet so many great people, and really hone my act over many performances. It still needs a lot of honing though. Thanks for everyone's advice. You can find me at the drawing board.

So if I need to find you, where is this drawing board located? Smile
I have a feeling that you will be doing a lot of "drawing" on your "drawing board" this week at the cottage. I would like to hear what you come up with. The ones you told me earier were great!

PS the operation went great! I am typing it right now, and the surgery was less than 7 hours ago.
No MAJOR swelling, just a bit, and not too much bleeding.
A lot better than the last one.

Anyway, I hope to get to hang out with you before the summer ends. Jeff was talking about some busking plans. We'll have to see.
See you later!
