Hi there,
I'm looking for a good looking contact juggling ball (like acrylic) that doesn't scuff when you drop it on the sidewalk (like lacross). |

And I'm looking for a wife who doesn't complain when I get home later than I told her!
Seriously if there was a perfect ball people would be using it. Plastics don't like concrete, it scratches them. Glass likes it even less. Metal balls tend to dent. What does that leave you with? Nigel
I knew a man who kept saying "pliers, pincers, scissors". He was speaking in tongs.

You can do contact juggling with anything. Why does it have to be a "crystal ball"?
Lawn bowling balls can work, bocce balls, pool (billiard) balls, children's balls...anything. I have even used a roll or tape to do the moves...why look like everyone else. Take a walk down to your local dollar store and play around with stuff, go to Walmart into the sports section. Look in your garage. |

I got the steel ones from Dube, granted mine has scratches all over the place, but it is a lot better than chipped up urathane.

Well Scaress I have clear acrylics and glitter filled acrylics and though they scratch equaly they don't show up nearly as much on the glitter filled ones. Plus more than once while Ive been stalling a glitter ball on the tips of my fingers in prayer position and continued moving my arms Ive had more than one spctator to ask if it was spinning. That hasnt happend once while contacting with a clear ball. I just nod my head let them belive it. Despite what some magicians say jugglers are illusionist as well. A good place to get these is http://www.seriousjuggling.com and they even have them in 4 in which to my knowledge is unusual. Hope this helps!
peace! |
