You might like to check out some fabulous new Comedy Magic props now listed on my website! I shall be happy to answer any questions you may have. These are a variation of tricks that I launched in my lecture at Blackpool earlier this year.

The ADULT MAGIC page does not load on my browser, I use Firefox like many people do. I get an error on the page. The background image is there and a couple of graphics but halfway down the page I get some text that starts with "False 0 0 Edwardian Script ITC....."

I know you are trying to sell some magic, not get webpage advice. Good luck!

We have had some problems with firefox, and are trying to rectify them. It works in all other browsers.

Doesn't work in Safari.

My instinctive reaction is that it's the Javascript which is causing the problems- there's a whole load of Javascript in there for what looks like quite a simple page layout (I'm guessing that Xara threw it in automatically?)- would the CSS alone not do the trick?

I believe I have corrected all the problems. Can all of you out there who were unable to view my site, please check it again and let me know if it works now. Many thanks. Roger

Hi Roger,

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040614 Firefox/0.9

The URLs in the middle of the page work, but they aren't right - the active section of the URL does not extend to the full length of the "Roger Blake- comedy and magic for adults" (frontpage_b1.gif) or the "Jolly Rodger- magic and comedy for children" (frontpage_b2.gif).

The problems comes from the use of the CSS absolute positioning of the rogerjolly.gif.

The "rogue" code is:

Quote:
<div style="position: absolute; top: 92px; left: 279px; width: 400px; height: 250px; z-index: 2">
<img border="0" src="rogerjolly.gif" width="327" height="207"></div>

Also, I can't see what useful purpose the Javascript serves- perhaps I've missed something, but, when I deleted it, it didn't make any noticeable difference.

Thank you for your advice about fixing the site! I have just updated the Ridiculous Ravioli, so I urge you to check this out. It is a fabulous comedy routine suitable for all ages, and is getting rave reviews. The Really Ridiculous Rose is the best Wilting Flower you will ever own!

I would be grateful if you could let me know if the site is now fully working. You may have read elsewhere about my cloth of invisibility, which is now an itegral part of many magician's acts, and has been a subject of my controversy on the Café. I feel it should have a mention in this section, as it has huge potential for comedy. I use it in all my comedy magic shows! When the magician rises up up the stool, the audience goes nuts!!

I throughly enjoyed it and the kids were having a blast. I lost count of the can after number five or six but the mouse in the marmalade was fantastic.
Thank you for the enjoyment.

Love that British accent! It makes you a little more exotic than the competition.

Thanks for all your nice comments. Now......here is my little secret. This is not just a kids routine. I use it in every adult show, and frequently close with it! The adults find it as funny as the kids. If you want to purchase this from me, you can do so by visiting my website http://www.comicmagician.com or by clicking on my banner ad on The Café!
