A friend of mine did something strange. Strange, but intelligent.
He took apart his card box (regular card box) at the seams. He then flattened it out and LAMINATED IT. After that, he trimmed it, folded it back together (which was a bit tough) and glued the card case back to the way it was. The card case is now sturdier, waterproof and almost impossible to tear. Of course, it's a heck of a lot shinier too, but the card case looks brand new every single time...eventhough his deck says otherwise. I thought that was pretty smart. It MAY be an option for those of you reluctant about getting Tricycle as you're worried about it being damaged, so perhaps you could try it out on one of your regular card cases and see how you like it. Go out and perform with the card case like that. If you think you can live with it and you feel your spectators won't give two hoots, then perform the procedure on the Tricycle card box and be worry free. I think the trick looks great by the way Dan. Take care guys, Logan
You've been hit by, you've been struck by, a smooth criminal.

I like this effect, very creative. I like the illusion that
the change of the Bicycle logotype happens as the finger is moved across the case. I did the old "the card changes in the hand" for a newspaper reporter "DL" but the card was close in value and color and the reporter looked to soon. To my amazement he thought he saw the card he selected. After the magical gesture he turned the card over and had a religous experence. I try to do this every time but probally never again. In his write-up he said that the card changed as he looked at it. Good work DG & LD. |

Opps, I ment he thought he saw a random card and on the second look
he saw his selection. Retrospective reconstruction vision or something. |
