Speaking of the spy business and psychics, has anyone read "The Men Who Stare at Goats"? It's a great book about the use of paranormal techniques in the U.S. military.

When I was in Nebraska, there were a lot of stories about sheep.

That sounds like a good read Jim.

Thank you.

This kind of makes me wonder:
I have read many people claim that their methods and books can start religions. This can be an eye opener for all mentalists: How many mentalists do people really know or have heard of?
Uri Geller: Yes
Kreskin: Sort of
Derren Brown: Huh who?
??

Any more?
Maybe we all live in a yellow submarine.

So next time, before you say: I blew away people with my mind reading or cold reading act, Wait and ask this question yourself. Did I actually do it?
To entertain and to play god are two different things.
To believe is Magic.

And why should they do as you say?

One life course is of no more value than any other.

They all effect the whole and even the most wasted life does positivly impact others who you might say lead a life of virtue.

I do what pleases me.

Why haven't you won the lottery?
Because I can't read a ping pong ball's mind.
And the guy next to the machine doesn't know what the outcome will be.
or
They stop selling the tickets 15 minutes or a half hour before the drawing,
by the time I get the numbers, the ticket sales have closed.
or
I did win the lottery, not millions, but enough that I quit my job and just do this now.

Marie-Louise Van Franz writes: "Naturally people are wrong in saying that if a soothsayer cannot forsee for himself...he is of no use. We know that the capacity for telepathy does not function at will, and therefore even someone who has such gifts cannot always save himself from falling into traps. It is the great crux in the investigation of these things."

Tell them, "Because I do not want the FBI after me."

A lot of times people tell me to give them the lottery. I say, "It will be illegal, I just met you, you could be undercover FBI."

I don't understand. You say you have just started in mentalism, were you that good that people would ask you for the lottery numbers after you performed sponge balls for them?

Nice try, Salsa. I have been doing several mental tricks throughout the years also. One is Thought Transmitter, another is Die Cipher 2, "One Step Ahead", and many mental card tricks also.

I once got one girl saying that after I have done some strong card mentalism to her. I just continued with the trick "Lottery" by Jay Sankey pattering that I actually CAN guess lottery numbers but that I might lose this great ability if I ever used it in a selfish way like winning a lottery and that I am not willing to take any risks.
But let's try an experiment with lottery numbers, hm - we don't have any so 52 cards of this deck which you can shuffle as much as you want will represent the lottery numbers. Etc. etc. It got enormous reactions!
