Is there any truth to this story?

Oh, the one in the PDf file. Took me a few minutes to figure out exactly what you were talking about, sorry.
Yes, it is really true. It was during my days of playing psychic. I worked at Washington hospital in Washington, PA. I worked in the Caféteria. My immediate boss (or actually supervisor) in the area I worked in made me furious. So I was cussing to myself. He asked me what I was saying and I told him I was putting a curse on him so he would not be able to speak. Sure enough he lost his voice. Now keep in mind, this was the time I was playing psychic an in the news all the time and the belief factor in my abilities were pretty high around the hospital, even by the doctors. To back it up as fact, the psychologist writing the story actually called the hospital and spoke the gentleman. I had forgot all about this. Thanks for reminding me.

Caféteria? IS this where the PK silverware ideas came from? Bending forks, and the vocal cords of your boss. LOL!

Actually, another story.
When I was in high school, they stopped using real silveware and started to use plastic. Seems the real stuff dissapearing at an alarming rate. Students were stealing it in hopes I would bend one for them. I got in trouble, but told the principle it was not my fault. I was refusing to bend the stuff but people kept taking it. Just in case.

haha that's great! Just goes to show how exceited people get when they think you really can do anything!
One of my personal favorites these days is when I'm at a party (I'm a college kid and enjoy the college night life) and someone walks up to me with a deck of cards and picks one out of the middle. "What card is this?!? Can you tell me?" Well now the funny thing about people after they've hada drink or two is that they'll often show me the card in taking it. At the very least is I talk to them for a min or 2 they'll let me get a glimpse. Word will spread like wildfire and the next day all anyone remembers is how cool that was. Its building me a nice little rep here on campus. Hey Mr. Banachek, have you, or do you ever plan on coming to Johns Hopkins in Baltimore? Any other Baltimore shows? Thanks for posting all your cool stories! I've become a big fan. ~Spiff |
