Hi folks.
I've only being browsing for over half an hour, but see a helpful bunch of people. That said, I've little to bring to the table at this point, but a wide engineering experience in metals and plastics etc,, if that is any use for the making of props., etc.? My first book on Magic has just been ordered, so we'll have to see after that, I suppose. Looking forward and thanks. |

Hi Mike,
Mark Wilson's Greatest Magic Tricks was suggested in a post here, so I ordered it from http://www.abebooks.com . It may take 20 to 70 days for delivery they say? Seamus |

Nice choice! 20 - 70 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I get itchy if I have to wait more than a week! Best, Mike

Hi Seamus - and welcome.
Richard
I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I only lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three. Elayne Boosler

Welcome Seamus:
You'll find an engineering background very helpful, most all tricks and illusions are based on engineering or physics principles. Jim |

Hi jimhlou,
Without knowing anything of magic, per se, one popular illusion on the local circuit seems likely to be a mechanical prop and the clever use of it. I doubt other areas will be as simple though. lol. |

You can get further with a kind word and a gun than you can with just a kind word.

Hi Fazie,
Nothing too special about Ireland, I'm afraid. A very small version of Poland, within an earlier cycle time, is all. Bring your magic with you, if you decide to call, lol. Seamus |
