I've got to second the Crazy Man's Handcuffs and the other routines on Ammar's "Classic Renditions 2" Video. I just got it for Christmas and I can't believe how well the rubber band routines play. They aren't hard to learn either. No angle problems. Repeating the effect enhances the reaction. A great routine to add to your collection.

I like cold reading since it can be done anywhere, anytime, and angles aren't an issue. One also doesn't need any props to do it. You can read someone's palm or do a bit of psychometry or numerology.

Personally, I like a simple sponge ball routine. It always seems to pique people of all ages interest. Good luck.

The "escaping king" is a great one that can be done that ends up completely clean. It's a very visual effect as well.
