We all get people who freak out sometimes when we perform. What are some of the funnier or odd reactions you have seen to your effects?

As mentioned before, I have had people (on quiete a few occasions about 6 or 7 times a year) run out of the room. Usually they come back and just peer from the doorway.

I have people scream motherf***** and so on.

I had a lady faint on stage one time.

A least one out of every 10 shows, someone squeals out loud in delight.

Of course, when doing walk around, I get the typical Blaine type response, as we all do.

Do you structure your shows to take this into account and use these strong reactions to your advantaage?

not really, because you can't always count on them. You actually have to work with them. There are two places in my show that have a high percentage of such reactions. These I am ready for, but you just don't know what the reaction is going to be. If bending a spoon, is it going to be they do not want to touch it, they want off stage, they want to grab it and try it themselves. You just do not know, each person acts differently. I say let the moment speak for itstelf and go the direction it is taking you, but keep control of the situation. Never lose control when on stage no matter what happens.

I once has someone vomit after I did Shinkoh's Arm Twisting Illusion! Poor girl was grossed out...

You can bet those folks will talk about that till they go to their graves. How do you prepare for something like that? You can't, you just go with it. Now if you find a way to get that to happen every show, let me know
