Well... Since nothing can be done about the content of that site, and the person that wrote the instructions is obviously infailable, we can only hope that he gets burned badly (stay with me) and sees the life threatening mistake he made by posting information like that on a public site.
until then, good luck to the a** holes that try following his instructions, Brett.

...which is why we have to constantly stress that the only good way to learn this, is from someone who REALLY knows it.

Right when I saw his first blow I could see this guy is an amature.
Without getting into it, threre were several things he was doing wrong (safety wise). I love the fact that he takes the time to talk about saftey but what he addresses is a personal story about his skin being over exposed to kerosene, then mentions in one sentence the fact that you shouldn't swallow the fuel or let it get into your lungs. Unbelievable how irresponsible this site is. Nothing on real fire safety. And he also claims that if you drink milk before and after it will protect your stomach if you do swallow the fuel...Guess liver failure isn't scarey to him. To those of you out there that want to learn... DO NOT LISTEN TO THESE TYPES OF SITES!!! Get a real teacher, one that is a pro and covers saftey extensively.

You play with fire...
Working with it is another matter entirely. I wonder if there are websites showing how to do simple surgeries on yourself to save money. Yours, Paul |

That¡¦s a great idea!!!
I¡¦m off to get a scalpel (I have one in my dissection kit from unit ¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K it may still have rat meat on it but I could sterilize it with ¡K¡K¡K.. erm¡K¡K. OH I could fire breath on it!!!! I¡¦ll dig out the video and film it as I go. What shall I start with? Something simple¡K¡K¡K¡K BUT safe¡K¡K¡K. Let¡¦s go for a triple arthrodesis (foot /ankle operation) that¡¦s not really dangerous is it. ƒº Ill post the video on U-tube and then everyone can do it! |

I¡¦ve just had a proper look at his "How to make a torch". Complete amateur like you said. I love the fact that he has a HIGE nail holding the wick on, with nothing to stop the wick from fraying. But on the plus side he can take it out with pliers then do a human blockhead through the eyeball.
The best bit in my mind is this line: ¡§The great thing about kerosene in this project is its versatility, it is both the fuel for the torch and the liquid sprayed from your mouth. (DO THIS OUTDOORS)¡¨ Well I was going to do this indoors. IS this not a good idea? Also at STEP 6 is ¡§safety FIRST¡¨ ƒº And doesn¡¦t suggest it¡¦s daft to carry flammable liquids in a flask in YOUR pocket! The scar on step 6 Quote ¡§This cut has nothing to do with breathing fire; I got it when I tripped and fell down some stairs. I included it to emphasize the safety point that people could be distracted by your fire breathing and not notice they are about to fall down some stairs. (That and I don¡¦t like having steps without pictures¡¨ If this guy can¡¦t see a set of steps so not to fall down them when he or anyone else around is not fire breathing (or other distractions) should he even be touching kerosene? Let along trying to fire breath? Check out rule number 3 on this page http://www.instructables.com/id/EN111LXQ4MEPA8KUHT/ It clearly says nothing above you for 20ft. He is just under his washing line! And the idea that holding the torch 2 ft away from you will stop the flames from getting to your mouth! I just can¡¦t believe this stuff! He scares me! |

Nope no such excuses here I am afraid. I normally type anything over three lines in word, then I can spell cheque (ha ha) it and, if I have time and the inclination, get ‘text help’ to read it back to me. Just 2 tools I use to help get round my dyslexia. But on cutting and pasting to and from web sites, some times symbols get swapped (not sure why).
You wouldn’t believe I have written a bunch of best novels would you? |
