Of my favourites, I should mention, Last laugh which I often uses as opener and also Ultimate Oil & water from Scams & Fantasies. I also have to deeper study the 3 others DVD in order to complete the list.

Hey,
I personally like his jumping Gemini.... Not many have posted this as their favorite but this effect kills layman. Gregory Wilson also has a version of this routine which is an easier handling.

Having to pick just one, I would have to say the Ortiz Poker Deal. But I haven't the guts to try it in the real world yet.

I love Liar's Poker for two reasons. It is almost self-working which is a rarity for an Ortiz routine and it's the good old 21 card trick disguised.

I'm glad Jumpin Gemini is not getting a lot of press here. I think that's a pretty mediocre trick. I really think ambituous sequences with packets should be abolished forever.

Jazz Aces is a great effect - only eight cards!
Card Warp is pretty cool too!

I've been using the PINKY COUNT since Steranko taught it. I use it EVERY time I work for 50% of my routines. 30 years later...it STILL hurts the muscles in my wrist.

But, it's the ONLY way (in my opinion) of getting ready for a DL or Braue Add On, Secret Subtraction, Atfus etc., etc.

The PULLING DOWN action is far superior to the old-fashioned LIFTING UP (obvious) technique.

It's a GEM of a technique!

We believe you, Paul.

You and Darwin have something in common. He got the idea from Steranko just like you did !!!

I HEARD about The Pinky Count (circa 1975) from FRANCIS HAXTON. No other cardmen - at the time - used it. Now, it's a standard!
