From Max's web site... "The new DVD set is in its final stages, and the expected release date is mid-October."

Being able to do a complete show, with nothing, well not exactly. Say that the airlines lost your luggage. This DVD will show you how you could go to the store and essentially buy everything you need to do a show. that's my understanding anyway. Someone correct me if Im wrong.

Yes, I am on both of the DVDs Max made. My understanding is that there will be two DVDs but not issued at the same time. The first is called "Nothing" and the premise is that one arrives in town with nothing -- and will spend ten minutes and ten dollars in a drug store and have a really excellent 55 minute show. I was genuinely amazed at Max's thinking on this one.

The other is a DVD about the Magician's Choice (Equivoque) and, because of the things we can do with DVD, it should be the state of the art on this topic. Plus Max has so many clever PLOTS that use Equivique on this DVD.

My understanding is that the first DVD is now edited (or nearly completely edited) and so should be released next year.

For me, I was really delighted when Max asked me to be on the tapes with him. It was a great experience. Max is the absolute MASTER of the Magician's Choice. I have never seen anyone do it better than Max. Just reading his little booklet, Verbal Control, written back in the 1970s, shows you how cleverly he approaches this topic. I think magicians who are interested in mentalism will be thrilled when they see the material Max teaches these two DVDs. I was.

I get it now
Max is going to buy a stooge for $10 in a drugs store and do a 55 minute show. Cunning.

Looking forward to the DVD's Max. I love your work.

This DVD not only is full of stooges but also The PEP BOYS, Manny, Moe, and Jack.

That is a reference to Southern California, somewhat pop culture.

First a book selling with no indication of the contents and now a DVD called Nothing. Smile

Simply brilliant!

Bosko, please, please do not buy this DVD.
