Looking to expand my act a bit, and am looking for ideas to produce a 5' Ball Python beyond a dove pan. What is the name of the circus wagon looking Rabbit from Balloon illusion? Any other production ideas? She can easily fit into a 12"x12"x3" space, but it has to be REALLY secure. Pythons are extremely strong and good at getting out of things. Honestly, she's most comfortable and secure in a tied up bag.
Also thinking about other things to use her for in a show. Arm chopper? (She is to big to easily do a cut and restore snake a-la Penn and Teller. At her widest, she is as thick as my forearm. Just toying with ideas right now, so any suggestions would be appreciated! (Oh...Anyone worried about how safe a large snake like this really is...Don't be. I worked with reptiles at zoos long before I ever got her without a single tense moment. This snake (Cetis) is about the sweetest beastie I have ever worked with, have had her in plenty of shows and in clubs and has actually helped get a lot of people over their fear of snakes by being handled!) Thanks, Gwyd |

Hi,
I use a 4.5 ball python in almost all my shows and I have used the circus wagon-which is plenty big and secure. I actually put her in there before I leave the house and she stays there the whole time-it's dark, quiet, and a "safe" place. I have also used a duck bucket, which is also large enough and is secure as well. Those are the two props I've used for the last two years with the big snake. I got the duck bucket from Dazzling Magic-I don't remember where I ordered the circus wagon from-but it was one of the more expensive ones that is very well made. If you have any other questions, let me know. I also use a corn snake, a small ball python, a tarantula and a scorpion in my shows. Plus a dove-the "normal" pet. Have a good day! Chad |

Get one of those Toy 747's where the top 1/2 is removable.
It would be better for the CORN Snake though.

I often do my Cane to Snake act...I use my baby carpet snake. Ofcourse you have to use the plastic cane. Great effect.
