Howard at The Trickery releases a DVD. Howard's a great fellow and a joy to talk with on the phone when ordering.
Online video is here: http://www.thetrickery.com/?nd=full&......ssrelase _______________________ The Trickery Purchases Rights to Bye George Its original concept was to produce a coin from a dollar bill. In 1996, when The Trickery marketed the effect, a larger formal routine was created from Al's original concept. When the purchase agreement was signed, Howard then took the routine one big step forward. The DVD was filmed on July, 7, 2006. The official release date is scheduled for August 30th, 2006. According to Howard, "We've gotten tremendous feedback from Dean Dill, Jim Sisti, Tony Clark, Richard Robinson, George Robinson, and several other well respected people in the magic industry. The explanations are very detailed and give you two different techniques to accomplish the effect." There have been unauthorized versions of Bye George recently on the market. These have been purchased from the distributor by The Trickery. The only authentic and authorized versions will state the names, Al Lagomarsino, Howard Baltus or The Trickery. Any other name appearing on the packaging or the instructions is fraudulent.

Hi Joseph.
While I can't get into too much detail, the next one will be a multitude of close-up effects that I have done for years; many mine along with some contributions. I've also worked out an agreement with Bob Solari to produce a compliation of his effects. Lastly, I've been working with a coin kid who has some amazing concepts, some of which I've never seen before. I spent a lot of time structuring routines with him. I'm also anxious to hear the reviews, jg2000! |

I must also take a moment to give Kudos to Howard. About 3 1/2 wks ago I phoned and was able to speak to Howard about some Tony Clark Merchandise and questions on some ring flights. Howard spent a good 20 mins on the phone with me, answered all my questions and didn't rush to make a sale. In fact , I didn't order until I had a few hours to ponder what I learned from Howard. Not only is Howard a great source to reach out to for an honest opinion but he has the fastest shipping ever. My first stop is always the Trickery.
Thanks Howard. RandyM |

I agree about the bit about going broke, although this one is at least a reasonable price ($25) compared to the prices of some of the stuff that has come out lately.
A definite "must have"! |

Do you have to be sitting down to perform this effect?? Or can you produce the coins stands up and make them appear on the spectators' hands??

You really need to be sitting down to do the whole routine.

The dvd is structured so that you can take fragments of the full routine so it becomes condusive for pretty much any environment. The full routine can be performed standing so long as a table with mat is availble; sitting if no mat is available. As far as producing coins in a spectator's hand...you can! However, the production of the four additional coins will have to be eliminated, unless a coin dumper is incorporated and you end with a shower of coins falling from the bill into the spectator's hands.
You can deviate quite a bit from the routine by incorporating other denominations of coins, matrix routines, gaffed coins, vanishes, etc. |

My reply was in reference to Salby's questions.
