I wanted your opinions on which volume you think is better?
I purchased the first one on ebay for $40, do you think this is a good deal or could I have gotten cheaper? I can't wait to start reading it. |

Hi chunk08,
Complete Walton vol 1 & 2, both are really excellent books. Get both volumes if you have the chance. These books are my main favourites. They are available from http://www.davenportsmagic.co.uk for about $37 each, but I should imagine with shipping to San Diego it would have been more expensive than your ebay deal.
I've never seen them sold anywhere else though, apart from ebay, so Davenports might be your best choice for a "concrete" source. |

I think H & R Books in the US sell the Complete Walton volumes as I'm sure that's where I picked up volume 2? Both books offer excellent material though my personal favourite, by a cat's whisker, is volume 2.

Get 'em while you can. From what I have heard they are becoming harder and harder to find. Even back when I purchased them I had to go through two dealers to acquire a complete set.

We stock both volumes as often as we can, but they always sell out quickly. We hope to have them back in stock again soon. When we do have them, we sell each volume (new) for just $35 ($70 for the set of both volumes). Best to check our website to see when they come back in stock...

I got vol. 2 from H&R but they were sold out of vol. 1 at the time. Really looking forward to getting my hands on it, though. Vol. 2 is great, BTW.

For sleights, volume 1 is great as it covered quite a number of useful and excellent moves. I like Walton's Trigger Move which I used it in some of my effects.
Vol. 2 covered lots of excellent card effects. I think these 2 volumes served very well for card enthusiasts and cardicians alike. Andrew Check out my new card magic eBooks "The Magnificent Queens" & "Triple Charms" at: www.cardicianden.com My Cardician Den Blog: http://pasteboards.blogspot.com/ |
