What does everyone think of this effect. I just got it a few days ago and love it. It gets great reactions, can be fit to almost any show, great for a story (the patter posibilities are huge).

Great effect. I performed it today several times, in fact.

Just got it today in the mail, and performed it three times to different friends and neighbors. They were all blown away...probably one of the strongest reactions I've seen. It looks truly "magic" and although they can't fathom how it's working, it's very visually overpowering. I am loving it. Definitely not for the kiddies!

I took a look at video of someone performing this. Is the method along the same lines as needle through arm?

I should mention that I am asking only because, if it is, fine, sounds good, but I'm not really interested. But if the method is innovative and different, then I'd like to pursue the trick.

I'm sorry, I'm afraid I don't remember. I think I just did a video search for +Saw +"Sean Fields" and found it that way.

Un-friggin believable! That's a great effect. I'd love to see it with the blood, but I can't imagine it being any more impressive. Where could one obtain such a thing and how much might it cost?

nice Aggieman.
in my opinion, that was better then Sean Fields himself.

may I ask, do you follow his instructions exactly, or have you made your own modifications?
aside from using headphone wire that is.

Wasn't there a few years back a gimicked barbed wire sold? The barbs were rubber. That could make this even more fun.

Awesmome video. I especially liked the use of the earphones. Next time I'm working in the bar, I'm going to ask to borrow someone's ipod earphones! Smile

However, I'm not sure if he'll want them back afterwards!

Speaking of barbed wire, I saw some fairly real looking rusty barbed wire in the Halloween section of that Wal store. It's a little rubbery, latex covered string. Maybe it'll work?

Hey. Ive been out of the magic scene for a while, but decided to come back.

Im not new to TMC. (I know I only have 5 posts) but that's because I forgot my main account info over the years -

anyhow:

I was thinking about getting SAW but a few sites say I need extra stuff, which is what id of assumed, but thing is... I live out in the country of the UK.. no magic shops for hundreds of miles... gutter, I know.

is the stuff I need (i know you cant tell me exactly in this topic )'normal' stuff like glue and paperclips.. or something id need to go to a specialist for?

Sorry I didn't answer all yall sooner, I didn't expect so much... lol.

First off thanks for the compliments.

1. nippleking; you can buy it from me if your interested. and I can do one with blood if you want. just say the word.

2. Scaress: thanks for the compliment. Yes I have slighly modified it besides the head set. I have also performed it with fishing line (not the best looking) and I have used quarter inch wire, the kind used on winchs and such. I forget the name.

3. Brain; thanks for the compliment.

4. And thanks to everyone else as well.

I don't think I left any one out. if you have any question ask.

After watching that video, I'm really considering it. Same question as Stephon, is it the same method as needle through arm? Will it work with 5 o'clock shadow? I start growing beard three minutes after I shave.

I do it with facial hair, so ya. I grow pretty fast as well, its a pain.
And I cant answer the needle through are honestly, since I don't own any version.

and I am selling it for 15 bucks I believe.
