Does anyone know where to find a good knife thru arm? A realistic looking knife?

I have been using "Tha Amazing Johnathans" Knife Thru Arm for years. It looks just like a real knife with a normal sized handle. I love it! People come up to me after my shows, I am just coverd in blood, and they ask if I'm all right did I really cut my self? I do allot of blood gags so I am drenced after a show and I never do any "restoration" type things to show I am "back to normal" (a nod to S the J)

If you were half as good as you think you are, you would be double as good as you think you are...

Ohhhh, that's a wonderful prop! I have to get one! That makes much more sense than a knife, I think, especially for a blood sacrifice.

Anyone know where I could see "Tha Amazing Johnathans" Knife Thru Arm? I've searched online with no luck. I just picked up a cheap version of the Knife Through Arm, but would like a better apparatus if possible.

I got these from Tony Parx - just as good as Jonothan's -
http://www.magicurios.com/ModShop/ShowProduct/33346 The blade is tapered and the handle quite thin. The blood pump really squirts as well. Simon |

Thanks Simon, that one looks much better than the one I've got. The handle looks very realistic!! It's twice the cost of the one I have, but looks to be twice the quality as well. Thanks again.

No problem Scott. I have always liked this effect but there are some really cheesey versions out there. Jonothan's version is harder to come by and if I remember correctly they used to cost about $300.00. I also seem to remember Tabman producing a high quality version at some point but I can't seem to trace it on his website either.

I just wanted to let you know more about the knife through arm that I have from The Amazing Johnathan. The BIG plus to this one is that you can see the blade on both sides of the arm not just the the far side from the handle. the blade appears to be through the arm and can be seen that way. I don't want to give away the gaff but in my opinion it looks more convincing than any of the others I have seen and I have seen all available

Hi there, parx knife thru arm is the best, amazing jonathans, cant be performed on a spectator, as mine can, everything is concealed in the handle, by pushing a stud the blood is released, blade automatically retracts by itself!, it is the best there is, so there!
