I'm doing some interstate gig and want to do my glass walk.

Has anyone tried to fly with broken glass?
How much did you take?
How did you pack it?
Should I just DRIVE!

I keep mine wrapped in a canvas bag, packed in a suitcase. It does have to be checked. When it gets sent to the baggage security station, it's sometimes useful to make sure you're waiting there, if they have questions. Often they do.

Glass should be okay.... as long as there's no liquids in it

Glass IS a liquid! Just get one of the occifers with that little tidbit, and we're all doomed!

Glass is a liquid and Jello is a solid. My head is just spinning.

I would either drive, or get more glass after arrival.

If you do fly with it, take along promotional stuff for your show so that you can Prove to security that you have a bunch of broken glass because you are a performer, not someone with a bag full of shrapnel.
I would hate to have to find enough glass to do a show with upon arrival at a venue. I like a really deep bed to walk on. My bed contains 40 or so wine bottles in a box. For smaller shows where I am not doing Bed of Nails as well, I'll bag it, but I still use the same quantity.
But, I also drive everywhere.
