Hey guys... I was on the peer a few weeks ago, and I saw this busker do this Bill In Tangerine routine that was pretty good, and there were no major props (that an audience would question if they saw it)...
He had a bill signed and marked all over, then folded it up into 16ths... Took out a bottle of water, and put the bill in his mouth, and washed it down with a gulp of water.. Then, put the water on the ground.. He then displayed a tangerine that was in full on the table the whole time... He put it inside of a cloth, and wrapped it up inside of the cloth and had a spectator hold it... Pattered for a bit, and asked for the cloth-wrapped tangerine back... He held the tangerine inside of the sloth, while the bottom of the cloth was hanging down (so that he could easily reach right up, and grab the tangerine from the inside of the cloth)... Reached up into the cloth, spent like 2-3 seconds in there, and pulled the tangerine out... Then handed the tangerine to the spectator, and reached into his pocket for an ordinary Swiss Army Knife... Came out with it, and asked for the tangerine back.. He cut a circle around the center of the tangerine, and twisted/unscrewed the tangerine... Had the spectator take off the top of it, and the bill was right there, sticking out of the tangerine... I just want to know what the name of the routine is, and where I can find it... If anyone has any info on this, Please let me know... I know the basis of how to do it, etc., but I still an curious as to a few moves... Thanks! -Vinnie |
