The Ring was successful. After being denied coverage by both the Seattle times/Post Intelligencer and local news media, and the rejection of local promoters based on the extremely questionable subject matter, the actual escape was completed on private property, and in semi secrecy. More to follow.

Just time for a short update, full story and video to follow....
I did complete the "G-Force Strait jacket Escape". It took 4 times longer than I thought it would take, was 10 times harder and I still can't take a deep breath without pain....I love my job!

Just wanted to add that working with Cliff on the "dueling straitjackets" was my first ever escape from a straitjacket in front of an audience. It was a blast.

And thanks to those folks who have been so encouraging and so inspiring to me!

I am back home now and in one piece. It all went pretty well and I will send off documentation by mid week. Congratulations to all the participants and here's to 2009!

Q about the footage: Do I want edited or raw footage?
A. If you can send me a copy of the event using the raw footage I can edit it together with consideration to the number of people who send footage and how long the segments are.
If your escape shows interesting detail about the setup, send that too. If you however shot footage from the time you left your house until the time you went to bed then YES, please cut out all the stuff that you know just won't make it onto the clip.

Also, please do not send the footage via "you send it" as it does not work, in this case.

I can also use Mpeg or quicktime format that has been compressed using h264 or (in other words) down to 320X 240 (4/3) or 426 X 240 (16/9) sent to Email (6 megs) or I can pinch it from you website. (HINT)

The other way is to send it to me in the mail

How to pinch vid from you tube, first you have to download swf&flv, then after that you copy the link from you tube to here http://www.videodl.org/ then click download, after that the file that you download you change the file to XXX.flv then after that you convert the vid to MPEG or what ever, well hope this usefull.
