I recieved the following e-mail, the subject said that "Jodi" found me on the Yahoo Sideshow Group. What do you guys think?

Brett.

Hi, my name is Jodi and I am a casting producer for ABC's hit show
Wide Swap. I am looking to feature a family on our show with one or
all family members who work in the circus for our third season.

Families featured on the show receive $20,000. We also pay to anyone
$1,000 who refers a family that ends up on the show. Each family must
consist of two parents, at least one child between the ages of 6-17,
and live in the U.S.

The premise of Wife Swap is to take two different families and have
the mom's switch place to experience how another family lives for six
days. Half of the week, mom lives the life of the family she is
staying with. The other half, she introduces a "rule change" where
she implements rules and activities that her family has. It's a
positive experience for people to not only learn, but teach about
other families and other ways of life.

Interested families can EMAIL ME DIRECTLY at jodi.friedman@rdfusa.com,
telling me a bit about the family and a phone number.

Jodi is the casting directer for Wife Swap. She's contacted the owner of our haunted attraction for an audition.

The necessary family unit requirements, most importantly the need to have school-age children who regularly live in the home, weeded the family out, but the premise would have made for great tv.

I would have loved to have seen the contract, especially anything related to "undoing" any damage that would be inflicted upon the house and attraction in the "rule change" portion of the deal.

Hey...I got that e-mail too...Unfortunately Sylver and I aren't married and my beloved children live elsewhere.
Otherwise I would soooo do it.

Got it. Did you notice the spelling error 'Wide' Swap. If you're supposed to be tv exec, proof-read your work.

Ahem...Brett...are you out of your freakin' mind? What possibly positive could come out of that naked revelation before a nation of mindless drooling voyers? Might as well go on Jerry Springer. Consider your dignity and pass.

Doug,
I like you better than Paul. You're smarter.

I'm with Higley on this one... There is no way I'd do that show (sorry Gwyd)
Everything is edited to create the most drama for better ratings and the contracts they make you sign leave you wide open to damage.

Nah, that's just an easy way to get a lot of attention for a very short time (unless you get elected to a second term).
