My wife always wants a *wish list* every Christmas, so she can shop for me. All I can think of is socks, and that ticks her off. At my age, any 'toy' I might take a hankering for, I'd rather buy myself.

So do I have a wish list?? Well, yes, and here it is:

A Magician's Christmas Wish List

1. A five-ring 'Linking Finger Ring' routine.

2. When someone jokes, "Can you make my wife disappear?" -- it can be done!

3. A thousand-dollar gift certificate for just the SECRETS to all the new dealer-magic that puzzles me -- that I'll never own.

4. A 'Mute Button' for the kid at the gig who screams at 140 decibels.

5. A wand that actually does something magical.

6. An invisible ultrasonic 'Throat Paralyzer' for the adults in the room who think it's okay to chat loudly while the magician is working.

7. A Floating and Vanishing Car that I can fold up and carry in my trunk.

8. A levitation device for my carrying case that seems to get heavier every year.

9. A secret 'Wireless Silencer' for any active radios, tape players, televisions, video cameras, and cell phones within a 300-yard range.

10. An electronic 'Homing Device' that instantly finds - and tells me - the location of the guy with the check.


Okay, I guess it'll have to be socks again this year....

Ha ha, I should have asked Santa for some of those items myself
