I forgot her name, but I saw an Asian woman who did card manipulation MUCH better than most men. I think she either won or was very close to winning FISM....and her skill WOWed me !
Unfortunately, many female magicians seen to rely on their female charms and are still entertaining, even though they are not technically superior to many men. let us not forget, one of the main goals in magic is entertainment...while technical competance is good...it does not always make for the most sucessful magician. Regardless, I still have a smile on my face and love to see female performers PS: The was also recently a post on the Café about another woman who did an excellent 3-fly (posted on YouTube).
