My first post! I am a long time fan of magic and all kinds of escapes, but have only entered these waters on the hobbyist level so far. I am making more time for learning and practicing these days.

In the last year, I have been lucky to receive some wonderful encouragement from performers to challenge myself more and to join this community as part of that exploration. This community seems very open and supportive, a great asset to beginners like me!

I currently work full time in the film business as an editor (and have had the blessing and curse of working in the very corporate side of that world for the last few years.) Looking for ways to get a little magic into my time off.
