Am I the only one that this and any kind of "Spiker" leaves me a little cold? I don't nearly the audience response I think I will. When the panels open and she is gone then, it just becomes a puzzle. Where is she? That is all the audience thinks.

That's how the regular Spiker efffect leaves the audience I think. With the Death Drop I see it as she is gone but before they start thinking you produce her once again, if so you please, I have a great idea for this illusion. With the regular Spiker the spikes are usually slid thru the box ith ease which I think looks too simple too easy thus making it a puzzle.

The online video link above seems a little fishy at best. The audience goes a little too wild over the illusion and the drummer in the background seems to be drumming a different song than is being played for the illusion. You be the judge though...

Keir... After your comment.. I couldn't help but watch YOUR video. And it appears quite obviously that YOU have edited your audio.. so what would your point be??? I have seen Death Drop in person and it gets a powerfull response. Why would you take the time to make a post and dog an original creation of someones? That is not what this forum is all about.

Hey,

Does anyone know the name of the song that they play in this demo? I dig it!

Given the purpose of the video I'm not sure that it matters if the music or sound effects were from the original taping. (Not that it wouldn't be nice for us to see and hear) What I saw was a great effect and a very well built prop...which is what he's selling.

I personally love this illusion and if I had an extra $10,000 or so laying around there would be one in my garage. So if anyone thought I was dogging the illusion they took me out of context. I just thought that the "rock star" over the top reaction that the illusion gets on the video is a bit of a stretch is all. And I thought that it was funny that there was a guy in the background drumming to the beat of a different song. My video is edited, because it is a demo video and there isn't time to put whole routines on it I had to trim it down and thus edit the audio. Sorry if I offended anyone. Peace,

Keir
