I purchased a Shure WH20 headset system around 4 years ago. This year, I want to upgrade because the headset is become really uncomfortable to wear, and it seems like my microphone likes to cut out.
I want to purchase a new system, but with my new act coming for the Christmas season, my budget is not the biggest. Even if I just replace the headset to an earset, the only problem with that is my connection on the Shure transmitter is a 1/4" plug, not the mini connector. Or any ideas on how to get the most out of my system right now? Thanks! Evan |

You should be able to order a new headset or earset with the 1/4" plug.

Buy an adapter, or ask a sound technician to solder another plug to it. You also can buy mics without plugs, so you can solder any plug to it. For low budget, try http://www.monacor.com
